House of Five Leaves

Saraiya Goyou · さらい屋 五葉
Drama2010ManglobeRating 7,813+HD

Masa is a ronin who can actually fight. That is the problem. Edo is quiet, nobody needs a blade, and every job slips through his fingers because he apologizes too much and stares at his own feet. Flat broke, no prospects, he starts wondering if he was ever cut out to be a samurai at all. Then a stranger in pink strolls up and offers him work as a bodyguard. Just like that. Yaichi seems to have no plan, no worries, no past. The job is not a job. Masa has walked straight into a crew of kidnappers and crooks who call themselves the Five Leaves. He should leave. He knows it. But Yaichi keeps pulling him closer, and the others, a quiet bunch with careful smiles, get under his skin. The pay is dirty, the company is worse, and Masa cannot stop asking himself why a man like Yaichi would want someone like him standing at his back. What is he really being kept around for?
