Nodame Cantabile

ComedyRomance2007J.C.StaffRating 8,313+HD

Shinichi Chiaki has the hands of a future conductor and the nerves of a man who has never once relaxed. He comes from a family of famous musicians, judges everyone around him by impossible standards, and dreams of studying in Europe. There is just one problem: he is terrified of planes. Boats too. So Japan keeps him. Then he meets Megumi Noda, who calls herself Nodame. She is messy, aimless, and talks like she lives on another planet. But when she sits down at the piano, something happens that Shinichi cannot explain or forget. And of course, because the universe has a sense of humor, she turns out to be his next door neighbor, and she is already completely in love with him. Now the perfectionist who cannot stand a single wrong note has to deal with a girl who plays from pure instinct and follows him everywhere. Can he push her toward real greatness, or will her chaos be the thing that finally cracks him open?
