Episode 3 · RahXephon

RahXephon

Ayato Kamina's biggest problem is a math test. Then fighter jets tear open the sky over Tokyo, and a woman named Haruka pulls him aside with news that sounds insane: the city sits inside a bubble called Tokyo Jupiter, where time crawls at a third of the speed of the outside world. He bolts. He runs straight into his classmate Reika, who leads him to a giant egg and starts singing. Something inside him answers, and RahXephon hatches. Then his own mother appears on top of the thing, bleeding blue. His mother. Blue. Now TERRA wants him as a weapon against the Mulians, the Mulians want him gone, and every memory he owns feels borrowed. If the people who raised him were never really people, who exactly is Ayato Kamina?
