Genshiken Second Season

Genshiken Nidaime · げんしけん 二代目
Comedy2013Production I.GRating 7,413+HD

The old guard of Genshiken is gone. The club room that once smelled of cheap coffee and old manga now feels too quiet, and the remaining members are scrambling to find fresh faces before the semester swallows them whole. Then three first years walk in, and they are not there for the anime screenings or the game tournaments. They came for Ogiue's boys love doujinshi, pages she never expected anyone outside her circle to care about. Ogiue is happy to have them, at first. Then the numbers start to shift, the conversations start to change, and the club she fought to keep alive starts looking like something else entirely. Rika and Mirei talk yaoi pairings like they are planning a wedding. Suzanna from America dives in with the same intensity. And then there is Hato-san, a quiet presence everyone calls the mysterious beauty, who somehow fits into every conversation without ever quite explaining why. Ogiue watches the room fill with new energy and wonders if she is watching a rescue or a takeover. The club is growing, sure. But growing into what, and for whom?
