Offside (TV)
Goro Kumagaya is tall, a natural in goal, and already has his future mapped out. Yokonan High has one of the best football clubs around, and he is set on wearing their shirt. Then an accident happens, and he fails the entrance exam. Just like that, he lands at Kawasaki High, the school on the other side of the tracks with a team nobody fears. But the lowly club is not empty. Shingo, Hideki and Kazuhito Oda can all play, and together they drag Goro into a fight he never asked for: chasing Yokonan and every other school that stands above them. Setbacks only push them harder, and the biggest surprise comes when Goro discovers he has a talent nobody saw coming, one that changes where he belongs on the pitch. Can a keeper turned striker really carry a no-name school all the way to the top?
