Two young women share a bond that will shape everything that comes after. Lena carries a power she barely understands, a gem that could change the balance of the world. Sifr sits on a throne she never wanted, a queen with secrets buried deep. Their paths cross, and for a moment, it seems like they might just make it. Then Sifr vanishes. Kidnapped. Gone without a trace. Lena does not hesitate. She goes after her, and that is when the gem inside her wakes up. Not gently. Not quietly. The kind of power that makes people take notice, the kind that starts wars. Old factions stir. Schwartz. Aswad. The academy at Garderobe begins to take shape, its Five Columns watching from the shadows, and none of them are ready for what Lena is about to become. The rescue mission turns into something much bigger. Every choice Lena makes now echoes into a future she cannot see, a future where her daughter Arika will one day stand on the same ground. But can she save Sifr before the forces closing in decide the outcome for both of them?
