Satsuki joins the Photography Club because she can't stop watching Makinohara work. Soon she's pointing her lens at her upperclassman every single day. Then Makinohara graduates, the club lands in Satsuki's hands, and she clears the slate. A 360-degree camera, bought secondhand online, becomes her new toy. She and her friend An shoot everything they can find. The problem: two members isn't enough, and the club is about to fall apart. So they talk Sakurako, who runs the Cinema Club, into merging, and the Cinephoto Club is born. Now it's road trips across Japan with cameras and whatever gadgets they can get their hands on. Local food, weird mishaps, arguments over the right angle. A manga artist friend named Haruno keeps cheering them on from the sidelines, and somewhere in all of it the girls become the subject of a manga themselves. What happens when the thing you started as a tribute to someone else turns into something that's entirely yours?
