Fuu Sawatari was a kid the first time her father put a camera in her hands, and the two of them spent whole afternoons in Takehara chasing light and rooftops through the lens. Then he was gone. All she kept was his old camera. Five years later her family packs up and moves back to that same town so Fuu can start high school, and the streets she remembers from childhood are suddenly the ones she walks every morning. On the day she picks up the camera from repair, two girls she has never met, Norie and Maon, happen to be there too. A quick hello turns into walking home together, turns into something that looks a lot like friendship. Kaoru, the friend from those childhood summers, is still around as well. Fuu takes pictures of everything. Norie cooks, Maon whistles, Kaoru can name a smell from across a room. None of them has any idea what they want to do with their lives yet. Fuu believes a photo can make an ordinary Tuesday look like it matters, and she keeps trying to hand that feeling to somebody who needs it. So what happens when the shutter clicks on a moment none of them are ready to leave behind?
