Marmalade Boy
Miki Koishikawa figures her parents will come back from Hawaii with souvenirs. Instead they sit her down and announce they are divorcing, and swapping partners with a couple they met on the trip. Just like that. At dinner she meets the other family, including their son Yuu, who is handsome in a way that only makes the whole mess worse. Soon everyone is living together in one big house, six people playing happy family while Miki tries not to lose her mind. She has school, she has her best friend Meiko, who is quietly tangled up in a secret relationship of her own, and she has Yuu wandering through the same hallways every single day. The feelings show up anyway, whether she wants them or not. That would be hard enough. But other people want Miki and Yuu too, and both of them drag around old wounds they refuse to talk about. So what happens when two people who were basically forced into the same house realize they might actually be falling for each other?
