They have a plan. Easter, Balot and Oeufcoque know exactly how to bury Shell in court, and it all hinges on one tiny thing: a chip holding his memories, locked somewhere inside the BlueEgg Casino, right in the middle of Mardock City. Which means walking straight into the lion's den. Lose the chip, lose the case. Lose the case, and they stop being useful to anyone alive. So Balot sits down at the tables. Golden chips, sharp-eyed dealers, and every hand she plays is a gamble with her own life. And somewhere in that building, Boiled is hunting her and Oeufcoque with nothing left to lose, no rules, no reason, just a personal score he is dying to settle. Can she pull the chip out of Shell's own playground before the clock runs out, or is this the table where everything finally goes bust?
