Sasami Tsukuyomi hasn't left the house in a long time. Sixteen years old, first year of high school supposedly, and her whole world fits on a monitor. The screen runs a program she calls the Brother Surveillance Tool, which is exactly what it sounds like: a live feed of her older brother Kamiomi, a teacher at the school she's signed up for but never attends. He cooks, he cleans, he puts up with her mood swings. She can't stand how soft he is. Then the feed starts showing her things she can't explain. Three sisters keep circling Kamiomi. The Yagami sisters look like kids and act like they've lived a few centuries, and each one has her own kind of interest in him. Sasami keeps shopping online, keeps watching, keeps telling herself this is normal. Then the chocolate arrives. All of it. Everywhere. And that's before the powers show up. Is Sasami's brain rotting from too much screen time, or has the whole world actually lost its mind? And if her brother is the one holding all of this together, what happens when he isn't there?
