A handful of girls, a world already over. They gather what they can and keep moving through the ruins, and that is the whole of it: scavenging, walking, staying alive. Water is found. Something is carried. The quiet never really lets up. Then the short film ends, and you learn it was only the beginning. Tatsuki's entry for the 24th 3D Anime Contest took the top prize in 2012, and years later it grew into a full TV anime. The girls are still out there, still picking through what's left. What exactly are they surviving for?
