Shiki Granbell finally has the Edens Zero and the Four Shining Stars standing at his side. One last wall blocks the way forward: Dragonfall, a border of the Sakura Cosmos crawling with mechanical dragons. Get past that, and the hunt for the goddess Mother can continue. Then a warship starts trailing them. It belongs to Drakken Joe, the Dark Alchemist, and nobody on board can say why he wants them. Shiki and his friends slip onto the Belial Gore to find out. Bad move. While they are inside, Drakken's crew seizes the Edens Zero and takes it hostage. So now Shiki is stuck on an enemy ship, his own vessel is in the wrong hands, and the man behind all of it is waiting somewhere in the corridors. He will not run. He and his friends have to bring Drakken down if any of them want to walk off the Belial Gore alive. But what does the Dark Alchemist actually want with them in the first place?
