Three sisters scrape out a living in a wasteland soaked in poisonous red fog, each one armed with a power that keeps her breathing. Their home is a railcar with a tree growing straight through the roof. Water runs out. It always runs out. They cross the burning mist toward distant islands, hunting for whatever is left. Then a boy stumbles into their path. Wakaba. He remembers nothing, not where he came from, not why. Only his name sticks. Somehow he can read the Kemurikusa, those glowing leaves that hum with a strange power, and that one talent might be worth more than any weapon they have. The islands ahead crawl with mechanical bugs, hungry and endless, and every trip out there could be the last one any of them takes. Empty buildings sit everywhere, rooms nobody lives in anymore. Something happened here. Nobody remembers what. Can a boy with no past unlock the truth buried inside a handful of glowing leaves?
