Rinne Amagane just wanted to make friends at her new school. Instead she overslept, got flattened by a truck on the way there, and woke up dead. In Hell. Which, as it turns out, also has an academy, uniform and all, packed with demons who are not exactly handing out welcome hugs. So she schemes. The school volleyball championship is coming up, which sounds like a fine excuse to bond with her scary classmates and maybe, just maybe, a way back to the land of the living. Except Hell is not running a nice little after-school club here. Underneath the homework and the matches, something much bigger is being set up, a chain of events meant to shake the entire world, and Rinne has a part in it that nobody bothered to explain to her. Can a dead girl with a volleyball and a stubborn streak really punch her way home, or has Hell already decided what she is for?
