Magic used to be everywhere, woven into everyday life, until people turned it into a weapon. Seven of the strongest mages gave their lives to lock it all away. A thousand years later that seal, Magiaconatus, runs a monthly battle called Granbelm to crown one winner: the Princeps, the only true mage left. Then comes a full moon. Mangetsu Kohinata, an ordinary high school girl, blinks and lands in an illusionary world where six mages are already fighting. They take her for an enemy and go straight for her. Shingetsu Ernesta Fukami, just back in Japan, pulls her out with her Armanox, Viola Katze, and gets ambushed for it. That is when Magiaconatus hands Mangetsu a machine of her own, White Lily, and she drives the attacker off. Now she is stuck in a war she never asked for, and the friend who saved her has a wish worth killing for. So Mangetsu stays and fights. But why did the seal choose a girl who knew nothing about magic, and what happens to the wish of everyone who loses?
