Hibiki wakes up in a classroom he has never seen before. He does not remember the trip, the building, or the men standing over him. What he learns is that his own mother signed the papers. His crime? Too much time online. The Elite Reeducation Academy takes kids like him, the ones hooked on screens and games, and promises to turn them into functioning adults. The instructors say it out loud on day one: there are no visits, no trips outside, and no rules except whatever the director decides. Violence is the treatment. Blood is the cure. So Hibiki does the math. A prison dressed up as a school, guards who swing first and ask nothing later, his own family on the other side of the wall. He climbs to the roof and steps up to the edge, ready to be done with all of it. That is when a stranger named Shin appears beside him with an offer. Not comfort, not rescue. Meaning. A reason to climb back down. Hibiki still has to survive until his eighteenth birthday inside these walls, and the people running the place do not seem interested in letting anyone leave early. What exactly is Shin getting out of this deal, and why does he want Hibiki alive so badly?
