A shy kid named Umio takes a part time job at a manga shop called Horse Bone, right in the middle of the city. Neon signs glow all around him. Glamorous places, loud crowds, all of it. And where does he spend his days? Behind a counter, stacking volumes. His whole friend list is now just the people he works with, and every single one of them comes with quirks. With capital Q quirks. Then something shifts. The quiet guy who could barely talk to strangers somehow fits right in. Suddenly he has a nickname. Suddenly his weekends belong to this odd little crew that gathers at somebody's apartment and refuses to step outside, because who knows what waits out there. The shop regulars are no better. Neither are the customers who wander in off the street. So what exactly pulled a timid introvert into this circus, and what happens when the neon city outside finally comes knocking on Horse Bone's door?
