A year in a cell over a traffic ticket. That is how Mister, a space outlaw who goes by the name coyote, spent his time, counting down ten more days until they let him walk. So he busts out early instead, with Bishop and Katana pulling him through the wall. Then he goes looking for Franka, the girl her dying father handed to him, and the two of them head off after a treasure the old man left behind somewhere out in the black. Word travels fast, though. Angelica and Chelsea, federal investigators with badges and a grudge, pick up his trail. And Madame Marciano does not send paperwork. She sends her Twelve Sisters, androids built to kill, cold and patient, closing in from every side. A man fresh out of prison, a kid in tow, and half the galaxy wanting a piece of him. He could have waited out those ten days and walked free. So why trade a prison bunk for a target on his back over a dead man's fortune?
