Chainsmoker Cat
Her apartment smells like an ashtray that gave up. Yani is a catgirl with a smoking problem, and the floor is a graveyard of butts, empty packs, and trash she keeps meaning to deal with. She tells herself she can quit whenever she wants. That first cigarette was just curiosity. The next one was to calm down. Then it stopped being a choice at all. She does try. Really. Once she wrapped herself head to toe in nicotine patches, hoping for a miracle, and ended up sitting there anyway with a cigarette in her teeth, looking like a mummy that crawled out of a dumpster. The smoke has filled her head as much as her room, and her attempts to escape it keep landing her in one ridiculous mess after another. But here is the thing. The quitting only lasts until her money runs out. That is when the willpower evaporates, all those pretty promises drift off faster than the smoke, and the craving starts calling the shots again. So is Yani actually fighting her habit, or just waiting for her wallet to decide for her?
