A truck flattens seventeen year old Yousuke Shibazaki, and while his body sleeps in a hospital bed for the next seventeen years, his mind gets dumped into Gran Bahamal, a magic world where everyone mistakes him for an orc and hunts him on sight. Then he wakes up. Talks in gibberish. Claims he can do spells. His family figures he's cracked, but his nephew Takafumi sticks around anyway, and one visit proves them all wrong when a cup floats off the table. So Takafumi does the obvious thing: camera on, YouTube channel launched, one uncle casually throwing fire for the subscribers. That's the easy part. The hard part is catching a guy up on seventeen missing years. Smartphones. The internet. An entire war between game consoles that ended very, very badly for anyone who bled SEGA back in the day, and Ojisan takes that news about as well as you'd expect. Between filming videos, the two of them wade through comment sections full of strangers and trolls, and Ojisan keeps flashing back to the other world, where the people he left behind had their own plans for him. He survived a truck and an orc hunt. Can he survive finding out what happened to his favorite console?
