Captain Earth
A round rainbow hangs over Tanegashima, and Manatsu Daichi can't shake the feeling he's seen it before. He has, actually. Back when he was a kid, when his father was still an astronaut and not a name on a grave. So he goes back to the island alone, right before summer break, chasing a memory that doesn't quite add up. Then an alarm starts screaming from a building marked Earth Engine. A voice asks him if he's a captain. And before he can even answer, robotic things from Uranus, the Kill-T-Gang, come crashing down around the shining stars above the island. Between the fighting and the girl he once found with a strange boy beneath an abandoned spaceport, Daichi has to figure out what really happened to his father. An accident, everyone said. Was it?
