Master Keaton OVA

AdventureDramaMystery1999MadhouseRating 7,817+HD

Taichi Keaton digs up ruins for a living, teaches people how to survive in the wild, and somehow ends up on a plane to god knows where every other week. His day job? Chasing insurance claims for Lloyd's of London. Sounds dull until you see how he closes a case: haggling in markets, reading old documents nobody else can, talking a stranger down from something stupid. Then the work stops being about money. A claim turns into a missing person, a missing person turns into a buried secret, and Keaton is suddenly the only one asking questions in a town that would rather forget. He is a father, a historian, a former instructor, and half the people he meets call him a fraud to his face. He keeps going anyway. There is always something to learn, or something to teach, and he never seems to know which one it is until it is over. So who is the real Taichi Keaton? The quack, or the man who knows how to live?
