Four years after the Scaglietti case, Vivio lives quietly with Nanoha and Fate, training in martial arts under coach Nove. Then a fighter named Heidi E. S. Ingvalt crashes into their lives, demanding to know where the ancient Belkan royals are. Nove refuses, the fight turns ugly, and Heidi suddenly drops unconscious. That is when the truth comes out: she is just a middle schooler named Einhald Stratos. Einhald is not after revenge. Her ancestor, the Belkan ruler Claus Ingvalt, left her a tangle of regret and a need to prove she can protect people with her own fists. Nove, curious, introduces her to Vivio. Their first meeting goes sideways, as expected. Training starts anyway, sweaty and stubborn, and something like friendship grows between the two girls. But Einhald's ancestor left behind more than memories. What happens when proving yourself means facing the one person who already lost?
