Drama2025The Answer StudioRating 7,913+HD

Matthew Cuthbert never leaves Green Gables. So when the neighbor spots him in his good suit, driving the buggy past the turnip fields in the middle of planting season, she drops her knitting and runs straight to Marilla for answers. The news is stranger than fiction: the old bachelor is off to the station to pick up an adopted child. Except there's a mix-up. The Cuthberts wanted a teenage boy, someone strong enough to help with the farm work now that they're getting on in years. What arrives instead is eleven-year-old Anne Shirley, an orphan with wide eyes, a runaway tongue, and a head full of dreams. Marilla wants to send her back. Matthew, quieter and softer, isn't so sure. So this loud, imaginative girl lands in a house built on routine and silence, where every rule has stood for decades. She'll go to school for the first time, make a real friend, and turn the Cuthberts' careful world upside down. But can two aging siblings who never planned for her find room in their lives for a child who talks too much and feels everything?
