Konoha Koga seems like your typical high school girl living on her own, except she spends her nights killing people for money. Then she runs into Satoko, a ninja who fled her village and now has her former comrades hunting her down. When one of those hunters corners Satoko, Konoha steps in and finishes him off. That should be the end of it. Instead, Satoko reveals a strange talent: she can make a corpse disappear without a trace. So they make a deal. Satoko moves in, and in exchange she cleans up after every job Konoha takes. It is a practical arrangement, though the two of them are a bizarre pair: Konoha is cold and precise about her targets but cannot stand the mess they leave behind, while Satoko's ninja techniques turn out to be useless in a fight and oddly perfect for scrubbing away evidence. Between grocery runs and clashes with mercenaries sent by Satoko's clan, the girls carve out something almost cozy. School life on one side, contract killings on the other. How long can two people keep a roof over their heads when one of them is a wanted runaway and the other leaves bodies wherever she goes?
