Run is the kind of girl who forgets her homework, smiles at strangers, and somehow has half the boys at school trailing after her. Tooru has been cleaning up after her since they were kids. One year older, sure, but that never stopped her from acting like Run's bodyguard. Then exam results come out, Tooru gets into the same high school, and she sprints to Run's house to share the news. She opens the door and there they are. Run, sprawled on the bed with two girls Tooru has never met, all tangled up like it's nothing. One is Nagisa, quiet and sharp. The other is Yuuko, pretty enough to make anyone nervous. The bed thing? Just a mix-up. Still, Tooru's little two-person world just doubled, and she's not sure how she feels about that. Now it's four of them against high school life: classes, crushes, tiny daily disasters. Tooru keeps one eye on Run at all times, because who knows what she'll do next. Can she really learn to trust these two new girls with her best friend?
