Subaru just wanted a quiet look at the meteor shower through her school telescope. Instead she opens the observatory door and walks into a garden. A fountain. Roses everywhere. And a boy with long red hair, watching her like he expected her. Then it all vanishes, leaving one small blob bouncing around her feet. That blob is an alien. A Pleiadian, stranded and desperate to get home. He picked Subaru, which is how she ends up in a room full of girls in witch costumes, one of them her childhood friend Aoi, who apparently has been hiding this whole double life. So now the club has a new president, whether Subaru asked for it or not, and the job is simple on paper: find the scattered pieces of a magic engine that will send the little guy back to the stars. Simple stops being the word once they learn other people are hunting the same pieces, and none of them will say why. Subaru finally gets the stars she always dreamed about. She just has to fight for them first. Who else knows about the engine, and what happens if they collect it all before Subaru and her friends do?
