A routine bounty on Mars goes sideways when Faye watches an oil tanker blow apart in the middle of the city. Smoke rolls through the streets, people start dying from something in it, and the government slaps a three hundred million woolong reward on whoever is behind it. Biggest payday in history. Every hunter in the system is suddenly interested. Spike, Jet, Faye, Ed and Ein split up across Alba City chasing leads, and what they dig up is a pharmaceutical company with something to hide. The cover-up runs deeper than a single bombing. Meanwhile a man named Vincent, the one everybody wants, turns out to be a lot more than a suspect. The people who made the virus have their own agent on his trail, Electra, and she has orders that go beyond catching him. He has no past and no future. Not the easiest guy to corner. The whole crew is in it for the money, at least at first. Somewhere along the way it stops being about the reward. Can you catch a man who has nothing left to lose?
