The Black Order comes back, and this time they want Mo Fan dead before he even sets foot on the main campus. The entrance exams are about to start, and he is supposed to be focused on passing. Instead he is training inside the Three Step Pagoda, pushing himself day and night, because the people hunting him are not going to wait for a fair fight. And then, right in the middle of all of this, he gets picked for an exchange program at another university. Sounds like a break. It is not. The exchange program comes with a team battle and a practical test, and the practical test drops the students into a city crawling with monsters. Real ones. Meanwhile, the deserters from the defense force are still out there, and they seem to have decided that Mo Fan makes a convenient scapegoat. Every step he takes toward his goal of becoming the strongest mage runs into a wall someone else built for him. Can he survive long enough to prove he belongs on that main campus at all?
