Toward the Terra (TV)
Jomy Marquis Shin is turning fourteen, and he can't wait. Then he learns what actually happens on that birthday: the memories get wiped clean, and a machine decides who he'll be for the rest of his life. He never makes it to the ceremony. A man called Soldier Blue pulls him out first and hands him a truth nobody on the colony is supposed to know: Jomy isn't quite human anymore, and neither are the people hiding with him on a ship called Shangri-La. The government calls them Mu, and to the Superior Domination system they aren't people at all. Just a glitch to be erased. So the hunts begin, and the one leading them is Keith Anyan, young, brilliant, and utterly certain he's doing the right thing. Jomy never asked to be anybody's leader. Now he's got a scared, gifted family looking to him for answers, a fleet on his tail, and one destination left: Terra, the ruined old world humanity fled centuries ago. Keith is closing in. The Mu are running out of places to hide. Can Jomy get his people home before Keith wipes them out for good?
