The war over the space elevator has dragged on for years, and both superpowers are running out of patience. So they hand pilot Kei Katsuragi the worst possible assignment: set off the Space/Time Oscillation Bomb, the most destructive thing humans have ever built, and hope it ends the fighting. The operation goes sideways. Kei tries to disarm the thing, fails, and the sky comes apart. He wakes up twenty years later on a version of Earth that barely resembles the one he left. Dimensions and timelines are jammed together, whole realities bleeding into each other, and nobody agrees on what is real anymore. Some people look at Kei like he is the one who is supposed to fix all this. Which is funny, because he is the reason it happened. Now he is stuck in the middle of a brand new war on a planet he does not recognize, surrounded by factions who all want something from him. Can a guy who broke the world actually put it back together?
