For nearly a thousand years, Lingzhou held its breath under one emperor and eight princes who stood between the throne and ruin. Then the ninth emperor took the crown. The revolt came fast. Overnight, the old order split down the middle, and the land that had been quiet for generations turned into a place where loyalty gets you killed just as quickly as betrayal. That is where the heroes come in. Some of them are soldiers. Some are not heroes at all yet. They all get pulled into the same mess: a fight over who gets to sit on a throne that was never supposed to change hands. Every side has a reason. None of them are clean. So when the dust starts to settle and the alliances start to crack, who exactly is left standing on the right side of this war?
