A forest fire tore the twins apart. Towa got yanked through a portal and landed in present-day Japan, where a man named Souta took her in and raised her as his own. Ten years pass. She is fourteen now, a normal schoolgirl who throws a punch a little too easily, and she has stopped waiting for a way home. Then three strangers show up at her door. A bounty hunter named Moroha, a demon slayer named Setsuna, and a demon with three eyes who wants some artifact. The girls fight her off together. That is when Towa looks at Setsuna and realizes this is her sister, grown up, alive. Setsuna stares back with nothing in her eyes. No recognition. Not even a flicker. So now the three of them travel together, hunting answers about the past that connects them and trying to fix whatever was taken from Setsuna's head. But if her own twin is a stranger, what else about that night is a lie?
