Every thousand years the gods come together in the heavens to settle one question: does humanity deserve to keep existing? This time the answer comes fast. But Brunhilde aims straight at their pride, and it works. She gets her tournament. Now she has to actually fill her roster. Finding the fighters is one thing. Getting them to the arena, keeping them alive long enough to matter, and watching them stand across from beings who could erase them with a thought is another. She has thirteen slots and a whole history of dead heroes to pick from. Which ones does she choose, and what happens when the first human walks out to face a god who has never lost?
