That is when Kenjirou Shibazaki, a detective with a stubborn streak, gets pulled into the mess. He is chasing two high schoolers who seem to be everywhere and nowhere at once, kids who should not even exist on paper. Nine and Twelve move through the city like they own it, setting off explosions on their own schedule, while a lost girl named Lisa stumbles into their orbit and somehow becomes part of the plan. They call it a game. The whole country is a piece on the board, whether it likes it or not. What are two boys really after, if the destruction is only the opening move?
