The Empire of Death has set its sights on Earth, and Emperor Muge Zarbados has one advantage the planet cannot match: Shapiro Keats, a human who sold out his own kind for a seat at the conqueror's table. He knows Earth's defenses from the inside. He knows the people who built them. Four pilots get the call anyway. Shinobu, Masato, Ryo, and Sara, who used to be Shapiro's girlfriend before he chose power over her. Their machines are beasts: an eagle fighter, a land cougar, a liger, a mammoth. Four separate weapons, each one deadly on its own. When the fight turns desperate, the four combine into a single giant mech called Dancougar. One robot. One shot at holding the line. Sara will have to face the man she once loved, and he will not hesitate. Can four pilots and one combined machine really stop an empire, or is Earth already lost?
