Slayers
Lina Inverse robs bandits for a living. She's good at it, and she doesn't apologize. So when a pack of them jumps her in the woods, she's already rolling up her sleeves. Then a swordsman named Gourry crashes through the trees, decides she's some helpless girl, and charges in to save her. He finishes the fight before she gets the chance. Annoying. Also, now he won't leave. What Lina doesn't know yet is that one shiny trinket in her latest haul isn't just treasure. It's a key, and it opens the door for a demon lord named Shabranigdu to come back. Two strangers start tailing her and Gourry to get it, and one of them, a Red Priest called Rezo, keeps pushing them exactly where he wants them. Lina wanted easy money. What she got was the whole world riding on whether she and a guy who can't remember her name can stay alive long enough to stop it from ending. Can two people this outmatched really pull it off?
