A loudmouthed fighter, a famous actress and a schoolgirl who never met a gun she didn't like. One tank, and it has the soul of a cat. That is the whole crew, and somehow they all end up in a land of elves where magic actually works. The elf ruler offers to send them home, but she has to do it quietly, so nobody finds out. So she takes the shape of a dog and starts an old, complicated spell. Then an accident ruins everything. The spell shatters into five pieces, and each piece tattoos itself onto the body of a different elf somewhere in the world. The door home is now walking around on five strangers, and there is no map. So the plan gets weird. The tank rolls across the countryside, and the crew tracks down elf after elf and strips them to check their skin. Word spreads fast. People start calling them Those Who Hunt Elves, a name that scares troublemakers and terrifies every elf in earshot. They are not the sharpest bunch, but they have a cannon and a lot of energy, and they want their old lives back. Can five marks on five elves really be gathered before someone decides to fight back?
