Six years back, in the Tower of Fang, a sword called Baltanders got loose, and the sorceress Azalie couldn't hold it. When the smoke cleared she wasn't a woman anymore. She was a dragon, huge and burning, and people started calling her Bloody August. Krilancelo waited for the elders to do something. Anything. Instead they swept it under the rug, like Azalie had never existed. So he walked out. Dropped his own name, took the name Orphen, and left his studies behind to find a cure on his own. Now he's out there with a mouth on him and barely enough sense to stay out of trouble, chasing the one thing that might turn her back. The Tower would rather he failed. And the dragon isn't exactly waiting around to be saved. Can you really bring someone back when the whole world has already decided she's gone?
