Mahou Senshi Louie · 魔法戦士リウイ

ActionAdventureComedy2001J.C.StaffRating 7,213+HD

Louie studies magic at the guild, but honestly, he is built more like a brawler than a scholar. So when a thief named Merrill, a fighter named Genie and a priestess named Melissa need a fourth for their party, they take him along. It goes badly. His spells misfire, sleep incantations turn into explosions, and after a few close calls the girls decide they have had enough of him. Then Melissa prays in a temple for a sign, a hero she will spend her life with. The ceiling caves in. Louie lands on her head. The gods, apparently, have a sense of humor, and the girls accept the answer they got and hit the road with their half trained mage in tow. Together they poke through old ruins and fight things that crawl out of the dark, picking up friends along the way. What they keep tripping over is bigger than monsters: someone inside the kingdom is plotting, and the four of them are wandering straight toward it. Can a mage who mostly punches his way out of trouble really be the hero the gods promised?
