A giant oni hands a baby to a couple and says he'll be back for the kid in fifteen years. They take him in anyway. That's Jiro: normal schoolboy, girlfriend, parents who love him, and a countdown he doesn't even know is running. Then the fifteenth year arrives, and the monsters come knocking. Not just oni either. Dark cultists and their creeping little minions want a piece of him too, and every fight happens way too close to home, with his mom and dad and girlfriend standing right there in the blast radius. Jiro swings back, but each answer only pulls him further from the life he had. It turns out he isn't some random kid marked by a demon. He's Shuten Doji reborn, and to own that he has to walk through the past, the future, and dimensions that shouldn't exist. So what happens when a boy finally meets the monster he was always meant to become?
