Rin's life is small and quiet: school at Verbena Academy, home with Kaede, the childhood friend who cooks his meals and keeps the house running. Gods and demons walk the same streets as humans these days, ever since the door between the worlds swung open, but that's just background noise to a regular kid. Then the moving vans pull up next door. The King of the Gods and the King of the Demons, families and all, settle in beside him. Why? Because Princess Sia and Princess Nerine both fell for Rin years ago, and neither has gotten over it. Add Asa, the upperclassman who teases him relentlessly, and Primula, a strange silent girl he runs into, and his mornings turn into a scramble for the door. Sia and Nerine aren't just smitten. They're royalty, and their fathers want an answer. Every girl brings her own weight, her own history with him, her own reasons he can't brush off, and the easy days with Kaede start to feel like something he could lose. So when the pressure finally lands on Rin, who does he actually love?
