Episode 5 · Servamp

Servamp

Mahiru just wants a quiet life. No drama, no complications, no regrets. So when he finds a black cat on the way home from school, he picks it up, names it Kuro, and figures that is that. Simple. Then he walks into his house and finds a stranger standing there. Panic, sunlight through the window, and the guy shrinks back into the cat. Kuro is a vampire, and a lazy one at that. He swears he will be gone by nightfall. Except the night goes wrong, a contract gets sealed by accident, and now Mahiru is stuck with a freeloader who barely lifts a finger. Worse, that contract pulls him straight into a war between seven vampires and the eighth brother, Tsubaki. So much for avoiding trouble. What exactly has Mahiru gotten himself into, and can a teenager who hates complications survive a fight like this?
