A flash of light from her phone, and quiet Yuzuki lands somewhere that looks like Japan's warring states era. Only this isn't history. It's Shinga, where vampires and werewolves have lived alongside humans under one ruler, a woman named Himemiko whose power kept the whole place from tearing itself apart. Then she vanished. Now the warlords are at each other's throats, and Yuzuki steps straight into the middle of it. The only way home is to find Himemiko. Simple, right? Not when six of the most feared commanders in the land are too busy carving each other up to care about some girl from another world. Vampire samurai, werewolf samurai, names ripped from the history books: Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, Kenshin, Shingen, Yukimura, Masamune. Ruthless on the battlefield, each with his own plans for Shinga. Somehow Yuzuki keeps getting pulled into their fights, and something about her starts to chip away at the blood-soaked alliances these men have built. What happens when the one person who might end their war has no idea what she's capable of?
