Saki: The Nationals

Saki Miyanaga can play mahjong, she just doesn't want to. She joins the club anyway, and somehow that rounds out the roster to five girls, exactly enough bodies for a team tournament. Kiyosumi High takes the prefectural stage. Then they win it. Now it's the nationals, and the tables turn hard. Every school sitting across from them has someone who reads tiles like a menu, and some of those players might be better than Saki herself. She doesn't flinch. The whole reason she picked up a tile in the first place is waiting somewhere at the top of this bracket: her sister, who she hasn't stood in front of in years. So the team pushes on through round after round, chasing a rematch that has nothing to do with points or rankings. What happens when the person you're fighting your way toward is the one you have to beat?
