Kei Asai can't forget a single thing he's ever seen. That's his whole life, every face, every scrap of paper, and it's why he notices Misora Haruki on the school roof, a girl who barely seems to feel anything at all. She can rewind the world around her three days, wiping out everything that happened, and she won't remember any of it. He will. Every erased day stays with him, sharp and complete. Then the two of them start taking jobs. Small favors first, then stranger ones, all handed down by the Administration, the quiet outfit in Sakurada that keeps tabs on everyone born with a power. Nearly half the town has one. Some folks bend cats to their will. Others drag the whole world back to an earlier moment. The Administration decides who gets to use what, and nothing here moves without them knowing. Kei and Misora work as a pair, one resetting, one remembering, and that combination makes them useful. Maybe too useful. Because the jobs keep getting bigger, the orders keep making less sense, and it gets harder to tell if they're helping anyone or just being pointed at whatever the Administration wants moved. And if the whole town is a board someone else keeps rearranging, what exactly are the two of them playing?
