Miki Onimaru waits tables at her mother's Chinese noodle shop, and she's good at it. Fast on her feet, remembers every order, smiles at the customers. What they don't know is that this twenty year old can throw a punch hard enough to put a grown man through a wall, and she will, over basically nothing. A wrong word from her mom. A rude customer. Tuesday. So the shop runs on a knife's edge. Across the street, a bakery girl named Megumi has learned to dread the sight of her. And then there's Kankuro, who came back to town with one thing on his mind: payback for the years Miki spent making his childhood a living hell. He's been training. He thinks he's ready. Between the rivalries, the grudge matches and the daily brawls that leave the restaurant in splinters, Miki keeps winning. Almost always. So what happens when the one fight she can't punch her way out of finally shows up at her counter?
