A cat runs a ramen shop in Tokyo. That is the whole idea, and it is somehow the only restaurant of its kind in the entire city. Taishou stands behind the counter, a chef with big plans and a small staff, dishing out bowls to whoever wanders in. He is not just feeding people. He is building something. Then the kitchen door swings open and the show itself changes hands. Every single episode lands in the lap of a different animator, each one with their own idea of what this cat and his noodles should look like. One director goes one way, the next goes somewhere else entirely, and thirteen of them never agree on a style. The shop stays the same. Everything around it does not. So what happens when a small business has no consistent face, no steady hand, and a new boss behind the camera every time the bowl hits the table? Does Taishou's ramen survive the parade, or does the restaurant become whatever the last person in the room wanted it to be?
