A high school class disappears in a single blast. One second the students are chatting at their desks, the next a fight between a Hero and a Demon Lord tears the two worlds open and wipes the room off the map. Most of the dead kids get a second shot at life as nobles, princes, people with money and titles. She gets eight legs and a bad attitude problem. Her classmates landed in castles. She hatched in a monster-filled cave, the weakest spider around, and everything in there wants to eat her first. She was bullied back in school too, so at least the new world is consistent. Except this one runs on numbers: kill something, gain levels, evolve, get stronger. So she does. She fights, claws her way up the food chain one nasty bug at a time, cracking jokes the whole way because panicking would just get her killed faster. The Hero and the Demon Lord are still out there fighting their endless war, and her old classmates are scattered across the kingdom living their grand new lives. Nobody has any idea she exists. She keeps grinding anyway, hoping all this effort eventually buys her something better. But can a girl who came back as the weakest monster in the world ever climb high enough to matter?
